Products: Los Altos Technologies offers four UNIX security products to address a range of security threats.

Their flagship product, UniShred Pro, offers the best available technology for the non-destructive, environmentally safe removal of classified, sensitive or proprietary information from UNIX workstation disks. Using U.S. government-approved overwriting procedures, UniShred Pro overwrites all addressable blocks on SCSI disks. UniShred Pro complies with the most stringent government requirements for disk declassification, and has earned a place on the Air Force and Navy Assessed Products Lists and the Defense Investigative Service (DIS) In-Use Products List.

Armor, Los Altos TechnologiesÆ high-performance access control and authentication manager, improves the quality and reliability of UNIX username and password authentication, password management, and auditing on a single host or network-wide. Armor improves computer operations efficiency and security by allowing a designated Help Desk group to change passwords and lock or unlock accounts without requiring the root access password. Armor also makes it easy to print numerous production reports from its centralized audit file and databases.

Channels: Los Altos Technologies sells its products directly to commercial companies, government systems integrators, the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force, and other government entities.
